Create Contract 

Create Contract  provides business users to create new contracts.

Create/edit contract screen is displayed with  different tab sections as described below. (Note that the below tabs are in the default accordion section and not in the custom) :

 

(1) Main :  All fields  other than document attachments , mile stones and notes  
(2) Documents: This tab displays the document attachment control
(3) Clauses:
(4) Milestones : 
(5) Notes : This tab displays all events/activities that happened on this contract in descending order for audit trail purposes.

Contract Creation Overview

1. Contract authoring is completed and all fields are filled in.

2. Sent for approval based on custom work flow steps, notifications are generated as appropriate in each step.

3. Internally/externally  reviews and add comments back and forth on various levels on custom work flow

4. Finally gets approved by all levels in custom work flow

5. Sends to Contracting party for -e-signature

6. e-signature received and Contract is in effect and active

7. Expiry reminders if set ,sends in reminders to renew the contract on time

8. Contract document version history , activity history and review histories are maintained
