Login:
- Once user sign up/ creates an account, he/she will receive an email to the registered email address provided at the time of registration.
- Click on the URL and log in to CMX system using valid username(registered email ID) and password as provided in the email.
Pre-requistes to Create a Contract
After login, the user has to create the following before proceeding with the creation of Contract
1. Contract Settings – Manage Contract -> Contract Settings (Recommended to Auto generate Contract Id )
2. Create Contract Template
3. Create Custom Field Form
4. Create Contract Type
5. Create Contracting Party Type
6. Create Contracting Party
7. Create Workflow
Create Contract Template:
These are Standard forms of contract which is usually a pre-printed contract containing set clauses. This feature provides user to manage contract templates which can contain user defined custom fields.
Steps to create Contract Template:
- · Click on “Contract templates” in the left side of navigation menu.
- · In “Home >> Manage Contract Templates” page, click on “Create Contract Template”.
- · In the Contract Template pop-up, user enters unique Name and Description.
- · User clicks on “Choose Files” button and selects the template document for upload.
- · User then clicks on “Create” button.
· Verify that the Contract Template is created successfully from the Manage Contract Template screen.
Edit Contract Template:
- · Click on “Contract templates” in the left side of navigation menu.
- · Enter “Contract Template” name that needs to be edited in the search field.
- · In the Contract Template pop-up, user edits Name and Description.
- · For Template Document Attachment, user clicks on “Choose Files” button and uploads the required file.
- · User can check/uncheck the “isActive” check box and then clicks on “Update” button.
- · Verify that the Contract Template is updated successfully in the Manage Contract Template screen.
